Gimpo Int. Airport, Seoul, South Korea
An airport is always an exciting project, and in the case of Gimpo Airport, it is also the occasion to go back in history up to the 1930s, when the former military airfield began allowing civil aircraft operations. Designated Gimpo International Airport in 1958, it has since steadily grown.
By 2012 the number of international passengers surpassed four millions, while domestic passengers in 2015 summed at more than 19 millions.
Artigo was asked to supply the floorings for the 3rd floor of the International Terminal. Artigo produced a custom color scheme for their classic Zeus flooring: a very light grey shade with brown grains. Also used were standard colors Z639, Z626 and Z640, for a total surface of almost 6000 sqm.
