Surfacing public library with Artigo rubber flooring ND/UN
“Urban living room” is how Architect Lambert Lenack chooses to introduce this public library refurbishment in Rambouillet, on the outskirts of Paris. “The transformation of the Florian library brought a total reorganization of the space”.
“The media library is completely freed from the old conception of physical storage of books and becomes an open, friendly and domestic space: that is why we call it the urban living room”.
The atmosphere is relaxed, with white walls and made-to-measure natural wood furniture. Artigo's Nd/Uni U21 flooring (for a total surface of 1334 sqm) provides a stark chromatic contrast, all the while ensuring comfort and reduction of the noise due to treading.
